The Story Behind Onyx & Jasper Healthcare

I’m JT Spiller — a Co-Founder and Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician with more than 20 years of hands-on healthcare experience. Alongside me is my wife, Brandy Spiller, Co-Founder, entrepreneur, and business leader with over two decades of experience building and investing in companies.

Onyx & Jasper began as a simple idea:
to create a healthcare staffing service built on integrity, respect, and real relationships.

I’ve spent my career caring for patients and supporting clinical teams. Brandy brings the strategic vision, operational excellence, and business leadership that has guided our growth from day one. Together, we built this company with complementary strengths — I’m the relationship-builder, and she is the architect behind the systems, structure, and innovation that power our work.

The name “Onyx & Jasper” comes from ancient stones known for their beauty, strength, and foundational purpose. Those qualities reflect what we stand for:
a strong foundation, unwavering values, and the level of protection we would offer to any friend or family member.
